Many of tales to be told!
Olah DOOB followers!
I realize its been a few days since my last blog.. my apologies.
Day 8 Lansing!
We awoke later than we had originally planned to in good ole Milwaukee, but as soon as we did we head out to find a coffee shop, (that doesn’t sound familiar).
Anyways we found a lil coffee spot and sat outside enjoying the morning. When we came back to the van...
Sorry mom and dad...
…but holy shit.
It is so fucking hot here.
I have been sweating non-stop since we arrived in Washington DC yesterday. It is so hot and muggy and humid. I’m going crazy. This place is definitely cool, but it is waay too hot (haha).
We played a super tight set tonight after a long break, but I have never been so drenched in my whole life.
I literally feel wet when I step outside from...
A few days late.
Wow. We did New York in a day. I don’t think I’ve ever walked more than this in one day in my whole life. It took us a while to wake up, but we finally dragged ourselves out of bed (couches in Eric’s apartment) and went to a cool little restraunt called Pillow Street or something for breakfast. It was good. We were fueled up, so we started walking. Our first sight-seeing...
DC
Well, I walked around our nation’s capital today.
Saw some old buildings.
Did a lot of walking.
It’s very hot here.
Holy moley
We’re in Brooklyn.
After many hours of strenuous, but masterful, driving, we are in Brooklyn.
We have driven across the United States and are now sitting in an apartment in New York City.
When in some little town whose name I forget, we sat and discussed wether we thought it was worth it.
There was some flip flopping and changing of minds, be we finally decided to go for it and now here...
Camping
So yesterday, we drove.
Then we slept in the van in a campground. Andy slept outside.
That’s it.
Cleveland ROCKS!
So I think we were all a little skeptical at Cleveland just because we didn’t have a show, but hopeful because we did have a place to stay. Turns out that’s all we needed.
The dudes we stayed with are SUPER COOL: Loren and Adam. These two dudes are probably the coolest people we’ve met so far on tour. They are our age, so they have the same sense of humor. Everyone opened up...
Blurred
Tour is starting to blend together. Every day seems like the last. I can’t remember what happened two days ago and I find it hard to differentiate between yesterday and today. I’m not trying to say that tour isn’t any fun, or that I’m not enjoying myself, it’s just that doing the same thing day in and day out tends to blend together a bit even if you’re in a...
For the BOOBTOUR:
Matt: It’s not mine. I shoot blanks.
Also, this happened:
Fucked up.
Shit day Awesome Day
Day 6 Rockford
DISCLAIMER: I personally did not have a very good time in Rockford or at the show. So my feeling upon this day tend to be a little negative, however, looking back it was not so bad, and the night ended up much better. But for me it was still a rough time, and I need to be honest in these blogs, not every day can be awesome. All this to be explained and more!
We woke up at Jimmy’s...
Rock-bored Illinois
The day before last, August 1st, we woke up to breakfast in my aunt Pam’s house. She was lovely enough not only to put us up for the night, but also do our laundry, make us breakfast and let us all shower. We are very thankful. The drive, if I remember right, was mostly uneventful. Max and Charlie almost got caught swingin the samurai sword around at some empty cans at one stop, but that was...
The Last Days of Disco - Rockford, IL, August 1st
Rockford was built around a gigantic river, covered in bridges and filled with boats, parks lining up and down, everywhere you look, and much larger than I’d imagined. We took our places on a bench next to the river, and as I watched the ducks bobbing up and down, a hot cup of coffee in my hand and numbness through my body, I was disappointed to find that I had become a cantankerous old man much...

Day 4
“Who the hell is that guy Billy Nye?” -Pimm, referring to Andy.
Today we awoke fairly late, in Duluth at Mike’s House, but that was okay since we only had an hour drive to Ashland. We met Mike’s roommate Courtney who had one of the coolest dog’s I’d ever seen. His name was Stud and he was some sort of crazy squaty basset hound mix. He was a really big dog but he had a body like a wiener...
Ode to Eau Claire
Yesterday, a million years ago, we woke up on a cement floor in a house owned by the bearded lady in Ashland, Wisconsin. The night before, while Andy, Jake and Charlie were off being hooligans, said bearded lady showed up to say hello. She said it in a peculiar way, however: “You must be the band. Keep the volume down, ok?”
Nice to meet you too.
Because of this, we were all a little...
Te Occidere Possunt Sed Te Edere Non Possunt Nefas...
Duluth is basically on top of a giant hill, some sort of natural monolith perched on the edge of Lake Superior, designed by God to fuck with the all means of transportation. If ever there was an argument against humankind and automobiles, Duluth is it. We woke up in Mike’s futon theater a bit too late, not like it really mattered, and headed toward the waterfront, just around the corner from...
